| Ziele/Aims |
Learn critical concepts and methods in evolutionary and population genomics, and functional genomics (this will include PCR, micro-satellite genotyping and analysis, sequencing, sequence analysis, testing for selection). |
| Inhalte/Content |
Practical: Learn to rear ants/parasitoids, determine phenotypes (morphological/behavioral), isolate DNA, genotype or sequence individuals, analyze genetic and genomic data, presenting results to a scientific audience).
Theoretical: Principals of population genomics, population genetics, sociogenetics, comparative and functional genomics, molecular systematics. |
