Ziele/Aims |
Students will learn the molecular pathomechanisms underlying the development and progression of lymphoma and how to study them experimentally. |
Inhalte/Content |
- mechanisms of lymphoma development, progression and therapy resistance
- classification of lymphomas based on molecular alterations
- identification of therapeutic options and potential biomarkers for distinct lymphoma subgroups
- basic state-of-the-art laboratory techniques
- development of experimental setups
- data analysis

- cell culture (cell lines, co-culture models)
- genetic modification of cells (transfection, transduction; gene overexpression, knockdown, knockout via CRISPR/Cas9)
- functional assays (proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, migration)
- protein biochemical methods (Western Blot, ELISA, FACS)
- molecular biological methods (cloning, RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, qPCR)
