| Ziele/Aims |
In vitro studies on the role of melatonin on melanogenesis will be performed using human melanoma cells (MNT-1 or Sk-Mel-28) and investigating the role of MT1/MT2 membrane receptors in melanogenesis. |
| Inhalte/Content |
Melatonin is found in almost all animals and also in plants. In mammals, melatonin exert a range of biological functions including oncostatic, anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic effects |
